Terms of Service
Last updated: June 12, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Verdict — the AI-powered QA testing platform available at verdict-app.net, including its web dashboard, APIs, command-line tools, MCP server, and SDKs (collectively, the "Service") — operated by Verdict Inc. ("Verdict", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Verdict provides automated quality-assurance testing for websites and web applications. An autonomous AI agent explores a target website you designate, plans and executes test cases in a real browser, and produces bug reports including screenshots and reproduction steps. The Service is provided on a usage-credit basis as described in Section 4.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials — including API keys — confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
3. Authorization to test — important
The Service operates by autonomously navigating and interacting with the website you submit: it follows links, fills and submits forms, and exercises application flows. You may only submit websites and applications that you own, or for which you have explicit authorization from the owner to perform automated testing. You represent and warrant that every test target you submit meets this requirement. You are solely responsible for any consequences of testing a target without sufficient authorization, and you will indemnify Verdict against third-party claims arising from such use.
4. Plans, credits, and payment
The Service is offered under a free tier and paid subscription plans, with usage metered in credits (one credit corresponds to one browser testing step). Subscription plans include a monthly credit allowance; additional prepaid credit packs may be purchased at any time. Purchased top-up credits do not expire; monthly allowance credits reset each billing cycle.
Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"). Paddle handles checkout, billing, sales taxes, and payment data; your purchase is also subject to Paddle's terms. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. We may change prices or plan features prospectively with reasonable notice; changes do not affect credits you have already purchased.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit test targets you are not authorized to test (see Section 3);
- use the Service to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to any system;
- use the Service to collect personal data from third-party websites;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as your own offering without our written consent;
- reverse engineer the Service or circumvent usage limits, quotas, or billing;
- use the Service in violation of applicable law.
6. Your content and our IP
You retain all rights to the websites you test and the data you submit. Test results, bug reports, and screenshots generated for your sessions are yours to use. The Service itself — including its software, models, agents, and documentation — remains the exclusive property of Verdict Inc. We may use aggregated, de-identified usage data to operate and improve the Service.
7. Beta features and availability
Certain features may be designated beta or early access; they are provided as-is and may change or be withdrawn. We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, except as separately agreed in an Enterprise SLA.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Automated testing is probabilistic by nature: we do not warrant that the Service will find every defect in a tested application, nor that every reported finding is a defect. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verdict Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms (including Section 3 or 5), with notice where practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases; provisions that by their nature survive (Sections 3, 6, 8, 9, 11) remain in effect.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court, except where mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the website or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
